Eggishorn Sunrise Ride

Witness that mystical moment on Eggishorn at 2,926m when the first rays of sunshine of the day bathe the Aletsch Arena in an incredible blaze of colour. With the Sunrise Ride, you can be one of the first people on the mountain and experience this spectacle live.

Christian Gruber

Often seen in leather pants, Christian brings fast and uncomplicated hospitality. After work, he takes a shortcut – flying into the evening with his paraglider. Where food meets a passion for flying.

Getting to Alpenlodge Kühboden

Access

Alpenlodge Kühboden is located directly at the middle station of the Fiesch-Eggishorn cable car on the car-free Fiescheralp.

Arrival in Fiesch

By car via A9, exit Fiesch, or by train to Fiesch station (direct connections from across Switzerland).

Fiesch–Eggishorn cable car
From Fiesch take the cable car directly to Fiescheralp (Kühboden station, approx. 10 min). Current operating times at aletscharena.ch.
The Alpenlodge will be closed on August 19 due to a private event.

Directly at the mountain station
Alpenlodge is located right next to the Kühboden station – no walking, no car traffic, straight from the cable car into the restaurant.
